In addition to academic courses, I enjoy teaching group fitness classes to undergraduate and graduate students at the UWM Recreation Center. Through the instructor training program, I learned teaching techniques, ways to motivate students, and how to have fun at the same time. Teaching in the gym has helped me to be a better economics instructor. It's great to encourage students to meet both their academic and fitness goals!

I am also the vice president of the UW-Milwaukee Table Tennis Club. This leadership position allows me to collaborate with other students to coordinate and organize events throughout the Midwest. I've been able to gain knowledge of student groups on campus and budgeting student expenses. Playing with colleagues promotes teamwork and is a great way to represent the university.
